At Tilley, we strive to ship your orders as quickly as possible. Order processing takes place from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. However, during peak periods of high volume, such as free shipping promotions, Mothers/Father’s Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holidays, processing times may extend up to further 5 business days in addition to the estimated delivery time. We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 service for all of our orders, so please do factor in extra time for processing, shipping and delivery during these busy times. We kindly request your patience and understanding.

With the growing popularity of online shopping, the number of packages delivered to homes is increasing daily. Unfortunately, this rise in deliveries has also led to an increase in missing or stolen packages, raising concerns about package security. 

Tilley takes responsibility for your package until Royal Mail confirms its delivery to the provided location. However, if your package goes missing or is stolen after confirmation, Tilley cannot be held accountable for replacing it. 

To address these concerns, we recommend using the Royal Mail tracking service. This tool empowers you to request alternative delivery options, such as choosing a safe place or selecting a nearby location for secure package pickup instead of leaving it on your porch.

BREXIT RELATED DELIVERY INFORMATION

The UK has exited the European Union as of January 1st 2021. Changes to our dispatch and delivery process for some of our customers have been made as a result.

Below are details for those affected by these changes.

CUSTOMERS ORDERING FROM AN EU COUNTRY

CUSTOMS & DUTY

From 1st January 2021, if you are ordering from outside the UK your order will be supplied VAT free. As all orders are shipped directly from the UK, you may have to pay customs fees when your parcel reaches the country you live in. You are responsible for any import duties, customs, and local sales taxes, and you will need to pay these fees to release your order from customs. We do not have any control over customs and import tax and we cannot tell you exactly how much you will be charged, as this varies widely depending on the country you live in. Any orders with a value above the threshold amount will be charged import fees, so we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing your order. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country the products are destined for.

CUSTOMERS ORDERING FROM NORTHERN IRELAND

We anticipate that there may be some delays in orders being received in Northern Ireland as the new systems and processes are established. Please use the tracking information provided to check on the progress of your order.

Delivery time within the EU can be between 3 - 5 working days but is dependent on the postal service in each country. Overseas orders are sent at the customer's risk. Large or heavy orders being shipped outside of the UK may require delivery by courier. We will contact you prior to despatch if additional charges apply or a signature on delivery is required.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: Any duties or taxes that may be levied against packages arriving from outside the destination country, as determined by local Customs and Immigration agencies, are the responsibility of the recipient. Before ordering, it is wise to check the duties and taxes that you may be subject to if you purchase from outside your country. All UK prices are inclusive of VAT charged at 20%. We try to send everything in one complete shipment to save you money on delivery. If waiting for a back-ordered item would inconvenience you, please let us know.
