Thoughtfully designed this style to keep you cool and protected on those long adventure days in the sun. This sun cape style is ultralight, packable and features mesh ventilation with a adjustable reflective bungee windcord.

Care

Machine wash delicate or hand wash cold, use mild detergent. Do not use softeners. DO not bleach. Reshape and air dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

All orders are sent via FedEx Ground (5 – 7 business days).

Orders over £120 will ship for free.

Tilley offers refunds on new, unwashed, unworn items within 30 days of the date of purchase.

Clearance items, underwear and masks are ineligible for return.

THE RIGHT FIT

At Tilley, our hats are designed to sit comfortably low on the head. The proper fit should be slightly loose, as gravity will keep your Tilley in place.

Step 1: Wrap a string around the widest part of your head, located 1 to 2 cm above the top of your ears and brow line.

Step 2: Determine the measurement with a ruler, then add 2 cm to the total, for comfort.

Step 3: Convert that final measurement into your hat size in the chart below.

Very protective hat

This hat provides good protection from the sun’s burning rays. The wider brim offers some protection for cheeks/sides of the face and the cape is excellent for ears and neck. My husband has already had surgery to remove cancer from the back of his left ear. I didn’t realize that the back of an ear could accommodate 21 stitches. It can. I am currently treating a cancerous lesion on his left cheek. Protection from the sun is so very important. Thank you for designing a hat that helps protect and allows at least some enjoyment of the great outdoors.
